RESEARCH INTERESTS
Employing phylogenetic data to infer past demographic and evolutionary events in populations of human pathogens, especially RNA viruses.  Past and current projects have focused on the molecular epidemiology of rotavirus, viral hemorrhagic septicemia virus, and rabies virus.
