Biology Minor
 
The Biology Minor consists of 24 credits in Biology (excluding BIO 103, 105, & 107), plus the cognate CHM 109 Introductory Chemistry or CHM 115 Principles of Chemistry 1.

Core Courses:
          BIO 120 (4 cr.)   General Biology 1
          BIO 121 (4 cr.)   General Biology 2
          BIO 325 (3 cr.)   Human Sexuality
Core Courses:
          One course must be chosen from each of the following categories:
Genetics
BIO 355 or
BIO 375/376		 Animal Biology
BIO 222, 232, 342, 352;
BIO 572 (with permission);
BMS 202 or 208/309*
 Plant Biology
BIO 303, 323, 333, 403;
BIO 573 (with permission)
Additional courses in Biology or NRM are required to reach a total of 24 credits
(BMS 212/213 and BMS 290/291 may be counted toward the total of 24 credits.*)

* Biomedical Science majors selecting a Biology minor for teacher certification are not permitted to double count the following courses:  BMS 208/309, BMS 212/213, BMS 290/291
