 Hello everyone!

Last Week (top)
Last week we were able to visit both EY and BDO. This was a great opportunity to tour two great firms in Grand Rapids. Hope everyone enjoyed these visits.
This Week (top)
This week we will be visiting Hungerford Nichols which is located at 2910 Lucerne Dr SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546. For this visit we will be splitting up into two groups and you can find those by clicking here. The first group will be meeting in the Seidman lobby at 5:10 p.m and the second group will be meeting in the Seidman lobby at 6:10 p.m. Please be on time as we will be leaving promptly at 5:15 p.m or 6:15 p.m depending on your group. A spreadsheet will be sent out during the week for carpooling. Also please be aware that the dress for this meeting is business casual. If you have any scheduling conflicts for this office visit please contact Shannon Griffiths at

Attendance (top
As a general reminder pledges get one skip (there may be some exceptions if you "joined after the first meeting) and members get two skips. Also, we are keeping an updated attendance list on the Beta website and if you were at a meeting but were not included in the attendance, then you will need to email Shannon within two weeks of the meeting to get it changed. If this is not done within two weeks it will remain an absence.
Also please be aware that if you are planning on missing a meeting or have an attendance conflict, you need to contact Shannon. Also, if you have to attend an office visit out of town or you have a mixer/pre-interview night before on campus interviews and it is on Thursday night you are able to attend that event without having the missed meeting count towards your skips for the semester. If you find yourself in this situation you will also need to contact Shannon. Her email

This is a great networking opportunity and if you would like you are able to attend the event after. If you would like to volunteer for this event please let Kayla know by Wednesday. You can contact her

Regionals Committee (top)
We are looking for a few people that are planning on being around next semester to help take the reigns with planning for the Regionals meeting in the winter. If this is something that could potentially interest you or you have questions regarding the committee please contact Kate Oliver at
Study Tables (top
BAP will be hosting weekly study tables in the Seidman Student Organization Center on the first floor of the Seidman building. It's a great, quiet place to study together with your BAP friends, especially with the limited seating in the building. Study Tables will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays this semester from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Look forward to seeing you there!

Dress Code (top)
This is a friendly reminder about the dress code for our beta meetings. For women the proper business casual is shirts/sweaters/vests, Slacks, skirts that are knee length, appropriate shoes which include a simple heel or flat, and you should air on the conservative side. For men the proper business causal is shirts/sweaters/vests (should wear a t-shirt under a button down), slacks, appropriate belt/shoes, and watches are appropriate jewelry. Please be mindful of this for meetings where the dress is business casual.

Beta Alpha Psi Facebook and Instagram (top)
Don't forget to join the Beta Alpha Psi - Kappa Beta Chapter Facebook group! It is a great place to ask questions you might have about meetings and also to get information about volunteer opportunities. Don't forget each member needs 10 hours of community service and the Facebook group is a great place to see the events coming up! Also you should follow the new Beta Alpha Psi Instagram! The username for our new Instagram is bapkappabeta. We will be posting pictures from our trips to local firms as well as from volunteer events!

Birthdays (top)
This week we have one birthday! Happy Birthday to Courtney Schafer, 10/3. If you this Beta Member make sure to say Happy Birthday!

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. All you have to do is reply to this e-mail.
