A new class at Grand Blanc High School is spurring friendships between students and their fellow classmates who have autism.
The class, LINKS Peer to Peer support, is an elective that students can apply to take in which they are paired with students with autism.
Grand Blanc High School is in the first year of its new LINKS Peer to Peer Support program – which pairs up students with their fellow classmates with autism.
The Flint Journal sat down with some of the pairs. And here's what they had to say about each other and their friendships:
