School Ranking

Grand Valley State University has received two national rankings. The Princeton Review awarded Grand Valley its Best in the Midwest designation, and U.S News and World Report recognized GVSU as one of America's best master's level universities. 

PrincetonReview.com features student opinion data from more than 700 schools. Grand Valley is one of 158 schools on the site to be named a 2010 Best College in the Midwestern Region. 

Grand Valley State University has been ranked the top "up and coming" institution in the Midwest by U.S. News & World Report.

For its prestigious annual Best Colleges 2010 publication, U.S. News & World Report asked the experts who respond to its annual peer assessment survey to identify schools that fit the profile of up-and-coming institutions. Of the 70 that received the most nominations, Grand Valley ranked No. 1 in the Midwest, ahead of Xavier University, Butler University, Truman State University and Alverno College.

Also, for the fourth year in a row, U.S. News & World Report selected Grand Valley State University as one of "America's Best Colleges" in the same report. Grand Valley ranked 36th in the "Best Universities -- Master's" category.
