Description
Choreography students, under the direction of Shawn Bible, associate professor of dance, will present a program inspired by the current Art Gallery exhibit, "Mystery, Magic, and Mayhem: Wonders from the American Museum of Magic."
This exhibition of magic history provides a window into the worlds of illusion, conjuring, mentalism, and escape artistry. On loan from the American Museum of Magic in Marshall, Michigan, are more than 30 stunning graphic visuals and related objects associated with legends such as Thurston, Houdini, and Michigan's own Harry Blackstone, Sr.
Free and open to the public. The exhibition continues through Wednesday, March 20, 2013. For more information please call the GVSU Art Gallery at 616-331-2563.
