Description
Pulitzer prize-winning composer David Lang visits Grand Valley for a variety of activities:

2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Percussion Masterclass, 1501 PAC
3 p.m. - 4 p.m. Composition Masterclass, 1313 PAC
4 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. Guest Lecturer, Music, Culture and Aesthetics, Honors College

In addition, a concert of seven of Lang's compositions will be performed by the GVSU New Music Ensemble from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Dance Studio, 1600 PAC. A post-concert audience discussion with Lang will be moderated by Professor John Schuster-Craig.
