Grand Valley faculty members Arthur Campbell, clarinet; Danny Phipps, bassoon; Richard Britsch, horn; Gregory Maytan, violin; Paul Swantek, viola; Pablo Mahave-Veglia, cello; and Michael Hovnanian, bass, join with guest artist Fangye Sun, violin, to present Franz Schubert's "Octet." Composed in 1824, this six-movement work was commissioned by the clarinetist Ferdinand Troyer.
