Join a lively discussion and share your views about Grand Rapids' fourth annual ArtPrize international art competition. A variety of perspectives will be presented by a distinguished panel that will include a representative from ArtPrize; poet and author Dan Gerber; painter, sculptor, and assemblage artist, Charles McGee; and contemporary realist painter, Jack Richard Smith.
A welcome reception is from 5-5:30 p.m. The lecture will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. A reception immediately following the lecture will be in the Hager/Lubbers Exhibition Hall, adjacent to the auditorium. Free and open to the public. Seats fill quickly; arrive early.
