Farsas del Teatro Clásico, Los muertos vivos y El Marión

It's Saturday Night Live in the Siglo de Oro! The Grand Valley department of Modern Languages and Literatures presents an exciting workshop featuring sketch-comedy theatre penned in seventeenth-century Spain.
Student actors will give a brief historical introduction, perform comic interludes in their original Spanish and guide audience members in the creation of their own impromptu entremés! It's sure to be educational and entertaining for audiences of all ages.
Students: Haley Barrette, Caleb Duckworth, Mary Kate Haly, Megan Drahos, Alex Mason, Alexis Micoff, Amanda Moore, Luis Pellecer Jr., Ashley White, Ana Yonkers, Brandon Harneck.
This is one of a series of events including poetry, performance, film, lecture, workshop and readings, from April 9-May 1, organized by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, and Latin American Studies.
A wide variety of events have been planned in collaboration with: Office of Inclusion and Equity; College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; Padnos International Center; College of Education; GVSU Art Gallery; and Art & Design Department.
