Postales de Leningrado / Postcards from Leningrad
2007 - Venezuela
Directed by Mariana Rondón
NR - 90 min
In Spanish with English Subtitles
During Venezuela's armed revolutionary struggle of the 1960s, a young guerilla woman gives birth to a daughter. Seen from her child's point of view, their life of hiding places, fake names, and disguises seems like a game. Confidently balancing the drama of revolution with the capacity of children to dream, the film's colorful universe blurs the line between reality and the madness of war. [www.foreignmoviesddl.org]
