Description
Italian pianist Gabriele Baldocci began his piano study at the age of six. He has won several international piano competitions and has performed throughout Switzerland, Italy, Buenos Aires, Denmark, and Mexico. As a teacher Baldocci has given master classes worldwide.
In 2007 Baldocci recorded Nino Rota's Complete Work for Strings and Piano with violinist Marco Fornaciari, which was released by ARTS. He will soon record Rota's complete piano works for the same label.
Baldocci is professor of piano at the Conservatory of Potenza, in the south of Italy, and official ambassador and artistic director of the Martha Argerich Presents Project, which encourages artistic collaborations between musicians with different ages, stories and nationalities.
