Description
The Perugino String Quartet, GVSU's string quartet-in-residence, presents a program celebrating the 200th anniversay of the death of Joseph Haydn and the birth of Felix Mendelssohn. Also on the program is the 1927 composition "Triptych" by Arthur Shephered featuring the poetry of India's Nobel Laureat Rabindranath Tagore.
Members of the quartet are violinists Eric Tanner and Diane McElfish Helle, violist Barbara Corbato, and cellist Stacey Bosman Tanner. Joining the quartet will be Kathryn Stieler, associate professor of voice at Grand Valley. Free admission.
