Description
This exhibit features a new body of paintings by Jill Eggers that are loosely based on the landscapes in the writing of Michigan native Jim Harrison. Also included is a selection of recent work from the past three years.
Eggers is an associate professor of painting at Grand Valley State University and head of the painting program. She received her MFA from Yale University. Her work is exhibited nationally and held in private and public collections.
There will be an opening reception with the artist on Thursday, September 10 from 5-7 p.m.
The exhibition will run through Friday, September 25. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. Parking available in the Kirkhof lot.
