Description
This exhibit will include a new body of paintings by Jill Eggers that are loosely based on the landscapes in the writing of Jim Harrison, and a selection of recent work from the past three years. Eggers is Associate Professor at Grand Valley State University, where she teaches painting and heads the painting program. She received her MFA from Yale University. Her work is exhibited nationally and in private and public collections.
The exhibition will run from Friday, August 28 to Friday, September 25. There will be an opening reception with the artist on Thursday, September 10 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
