Barry D. Martin, conductor. Myron Welch, guest conductor. Welch retired as Professor of Music and Director of Bands at The University of Iowa in 2008. In 2001 Welch was named a Collegiate Fellow in the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for his years of outstanding teaching service and dedication to the college. Featured soloist with be Jonathan Nichol, assistant professor of saxophone at Grand Valley State University. Free admission.
