Faculty Brass Quintet - February 27, 2019
Well-known to Arts at Noon audiences for their joyful renditions of holiday favorite each December, the ensemble has the opportunity to inspire the audience with classic and modern music written for brass quintet.
The Grand Valley State University Brass Quintet is composed of Department of Music faculty members Alex Wilson (trumpet), Richard Britsch (horn), Mark Williams (trombone), Paul Carlson (tuba), and visiting performer Paul Hardaker (trumpet). The ensemble performs outreach concerts, master classes, and coaching sessions for high schools throughout Michigan. Their Arts at Noon program will include music by:
