Description
Join regional partners and colleagues in the first West Michigan Collective Access Consortium meeting. This event is for any institution currently using or interested in incorporating Collective Access at their institution. Collective Access is free open-source software for managing and publishing museum and archival collections. Share your insights and plans or learn how others in the area of using Collective Access for their collection needs.
Seth Kaufman, Lead-Developer of Collective Access, will be joining us and presenting on the current and future development plans for Collective Access. There will be time for group discussions, technical support questions, and 1-on-1 dialogue with Collective Access in regards to your particular institution's needs.
Nathan Kemler, Curator of Collections Management at GVSU, will also share insights into GVSU's mobile development project and future plans for their "Art at GVSU" application that is built utilizing Collective Access API's.
