	Colleen Bazuin Secretary bazuinc@gvsu.edu	Colleen enjoys working in the Art Gallery and appreciates this campus, fellow employees, and the students she meets everyday. She lives nearby with her husband of almost 40 years, Cal. They are the parents two children and have two wonderful grandchildren. Colleen and Cal breed English Setters and also have a house cat named Mrs. Emma Peel. Besides her family and her animals, other interests are reading, flower gardening, and anything British.
	Jenniffer Eckert Office Coordinator eckertj@gvsu.edu	Jenniffer has over 15 years’ experience working in the administrative field, most recently having worked for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division, in Panama City, Florida as an administrative assistant and human resources assistant. Prior to that position, Jenniffer has worked as a financial manager, business manager, assistant manager, as well as various administrative positions. Jenniffer is currently pursuing her education in the Management field and is more than half-way to earning her degree! As a single mother of three children and two dogs, Jenniffer stays very active outside of work attending her children’s extracurricular activities as well as various other motherly duties. Since a child, Jenniffer has had a passion for photography; in 2008 Jenniffer began her photography business, Sunkissed Photography, and continues to operate it today. Jenniffer was born and raised in SE Grand Rapids and currently resides in Lowell, Michigan.
	Alison Jones Preparator jonesali@gvsu.edu LinkedIn Profile	Alison received a B.F.A. from Grand Valley State University in 2004. Upon graduation, she started working at Lafontsee Gallery, Grand Rapids, MI. While working at Lafontsee her positions included Art Sales, Picture Framing, Co-Curator, Design Consultant, and Artist Contact. In 2007 she began working for Jeffery Roberts Homes, Inc. as an Interior Design Assistant/ Project Manager. Quickly after graduation she became very involved in the local art scene as a volunteer, artist and curator. She was a board member for the DAAC (Division Avenue Arts Cooperative). Volunteer for many Avenue for the Arts events and curator for downtown venues such as, Mustache Gallery and NOIR gallery. Alison joined the Art Gallery in 2009 as a preparator for the rotating and permanent exhibits of Grand Valley State University’s extensive art collection.
	David Keister Curator of the Print and Drawing Cabinet keisterd@gvsu.edu	After receiving A BFA from Ohio University, David moved to Chicago to work at Landfall Press where he became a master printer and shop manager collaborating with major artists to produce fine art prints. From there, David was accepted into the graduate program at Indiana University where he received his MFA. In 1979, David and Distinguished Professor of Art Rudy Pozzatti founded Echo Press in Bloomington, Indiana and worked for the next sixteen years as Technical Director and master printer, continuing his collaborative work with artists. In 2000 David began teaching classes at Grand Valley State University in computer-based 2D Design and Introduction to Printmaking class. In 2009 he joined the GVSU Art Gallery staff as curator of prints and drawing.
	Nathan Kemler Collections Manager kemlern@gvsu.edu LinkedIn Profile	Nathan is a peer reviewer for the American Alliance of Museums Assessment Program and a committee member to the Michigan Museums Association. He previously served as the Project Curator of Ethnology at the Public Museum of Grand Rapids and Curator of Historic Sites and Collections at the Holland Museum. He joined the Art Gallery in 2008. Nathan received his B.A in World History with minors in Art History, Archeology, and Studio Art from Calvin College and received his M. A. from the Historical Administration graduate program at Eastern Illinois University while being awarded the History and Technology assistantship.
	Jon Kloote Preparator klootej@gvsu.edu	Jonathan received a B.F.A. from Western Michigan University in 2001 and worked for The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts as an art installer. In 2004, he started KlooteStudies and is still producing work for it today. Jonathan received the Gilmore Emerging Artist Grant from the Kalamazoo Arts Counsel in 2005 and from it, created a body of kinetic sculptures for the public to touch and interact with. In 2008, Jonathan and his wife Christy bought a remodeling project on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids and begin laying down roots for a Family. From 2009 – 2011, Jonathan worked as a Collections Technician for the Grand Rapids Public Museum. Christy and Jonathan gave birth to a Daughter Carlene in 2010. He joined the Grand Valley State University Art Gallery in 2011, as Preparator, and appreciates the opportunity to work at such an outstanding university.
	Henry Matthews Director of Galleries and Collections matthewh@gvsu.edu	As Director of Galleries and Collections, Henry Matthews organizes exhibition and related diverse education programs, manages the university's extensive art collections and seeks ways to connect the university to art communities around the world. He was formerly Director of the Muskegon Museum of Art and Staff Member of the Detroit Institute of Arts. A native of Austria, Matthews has conducted dozens of world wide tours over the past 25 years.
	Cathy Marashi Assistant Director of Galleries and Collections marashic@gvsu.edu	Cathy has over 32 years experience managing a successful fine arts business and is an active member of the West Michigan Arts Community. With 15 years of experience studying, working and traveling in Europe and abroad, Cathy has comprehensive knowledge and interest in local, national and international art and artists. Incorporating her commitment to providing a rich multicultural experience to GVSU students, she has organized the selection, placement and installation of artwork in more than 15 new building projects at GVSU since she began in 2000. Marashi is a graduate of Schiller International University in Paris, France and is a member of the Grand Rapids Gallery Association.
