In your third year at GVSU, expect to take intermediate courses as well as additional
studio and art history electives. Art majors begin to create a personal body
of work under the supervision of faculty mentors in their emphasis area. Students
are encouraged to work conceptually and explore ways of integrating a diverse
range of media. You will also be able to take advantage of numerous off-campus
opportunities. At the end of their third year, each student meets with selected
faculty for a Junior Review to assess their standing in the program.
