ABOUT STEVEN SORMAN
Steven Sorman is a printmaker and painter. His career as a working artist
has earned him an outstanding national reputation with his work included in
exhibitions and museum collections throughout the U.S. and internationally.
When thinking of the role artists play in our culture, Steven comments that
"We spend our time learning a language no one else speaks but he hope
everyone understands." Though an artist's work is traditionally solitary,
Sorman also spends time on college campuses and artist centers doing
artist residencies and workshops. As for his artistic goals, Sorman explains
that "I paint what isn't, trying all the while to make it look real."
