Drawing serves to undergird the work of the majors in all eight emphasis areas in the department.
When I was younger, I wanted to be an Archaeologist. Specifically, I wanted to be Indiana Jones, that is, until I learned archaeology wasnt about mystical stones or god devices. I did become a Professor, though, and post-Cranbrook, with a MA in Graphic Design, spent Plaid time in the Pacific Northwest working on freelance for Nike and Plazm and am currently teaching Print and Experience design. For my own personal work, I mix my days with funky calligraphy, writing, and illustration. I have a great, big bushy beard in which you can see words from The Lost Books of Grizzly Adams.
