Lorelle Otis Thomas
Lorelle Otis Thomas studied at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit and then transferred to Eastern Michigan University where she received a Bachelors degree. She worked as a graphic designer for sixteen years in positions including Art Director, Department of Education, Sea World, San Diego. In 1990 she earned her MFA in Illustration from Syracuse University and joined the faculty at GVSU. She teaches graphic design, illustration, and design history and has taught watercolor and drawing.
Mathanimals, a game board she developed, is available through Target.com. Her illustrations have been included in two Society of Illustrators invitational traveling exhibits.
