David Keister
David Keister received his BFA from Ohio University and then worked as a printer and Shop Manager for Landfall Press in Chicago. After he received his MFA from Indiana University, Rudy Pozzatti and David founded Echo Press in Bloomington, Indiana. He teaches Printmaking and Visual Composition classes and serves as Curator of Prints and Drawings for the GVSU Print and Drawing Cabinet. His creative research uses photographic imagery captured and printed digitally. His interests and skills with photographic printmaking processes led to the class “Alternative Photographic Print Processes” that introduces the media cyanotype, photo-silkscreen and photogravure to the student’s image making repertoire.
