GVSU Art and Design
Blair Clemo is currently the studio Manager and Pottery Instructor at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. He received his M.F.A. in Ceramics at the New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred University in 2010. After completing his B.F.A. from the university of Montana, Missoula in 2006, Clemo worked as the Ceramic Materials Technician and Artist in Residence at the Northern Clay Center in the Minneapolis. His current work question how utilitarian pottery conveys wealth and social status through ornament.
