ART 420 - Asian Art
This course provides an overview of the arts of India, China, and Japan from their earliest known prehistory until the present day. The study of relevant cultural, political, religious, and philosophical traditions provides context for discussions of the visual arts. "Decorative" as well as "fine art" traditions are represented.
