The GVDC Alumni Club welcomed nearly 50 Laker Alumni and friends and GVSU President Thomas Haas to the Council for Advancement and Support of Education in downtown Washington to celebrate Grand Valley's 50th Anniversary. Guests were treated to updates on Grand Valley and also had the opportunity to view the 50th Anniversary video. The event marked the end of terms for club leaders Dave Yonkman, '98, Rick Rossow, '98, and Kim McKenzie, '03. New club leaders President-David Slentz, '06; Membership-Charlie Terrell, '09; Events-Kirah Rawls, '09; Programs-Josh Hilbrand, '09 were recognized by the audience.
