Laker Alumni,

Thank you for helping us welcome our newest Lakers to their home away from home! We heard countless words of appreciation from new families, housing staff, senior leaders, and many others on campus.

As housing director Dr. Kyle Boone said during his welcome remarks “Our students are coming here for no other reason than to be you – to graduate, to be successful, to become alumni.” The presence of alumni on this important day sends a strong message about our Grand Valley community and what it means to be a Laker for a Lifetime.
