Service Operations Supervisor
1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Since graduation, I’ve worked a few temp jobs and then ended up
at an insurance company, where I’ve been for nearly five years. I’ve
held a variety of roles within the company, and am currently a
supervisor. I find my communication skills I honed at GVSU incredibly
useful on a day to day basis, specifically now that I’m in leadership.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
In 2014, GVSU had one of its few snow days when nearly two feet
of snow fell overnight and all classes were cancelled. The campus
turned into a giant winter wonderland and it was such a fun day.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Assume positive intent.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Eye-opening, enriching, enjoyable
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I have benefited from wonderful leadership in both my personal
and professional life, and strive to pay that forward by being that
type of leader for others.
