Lisa Marie Zavesky is currently a teacher assistant at Stepping Stones Montessori School, a program where she provides experiences that contribute to the growth of self-motivated, independent learners.  In addition to being a member of the GVSU Young Alumni Council, Lisa has most recently become a Social Media Advocate for Grand Valley State and is one of the newest affiliates with the PR committee for the Grand Rapids Young Professionals.

While at Grand Valley Lisa was involved in the Laker Marching Band and was also a photographer for The Lanthorn all the while pursuing her teacher certification in Elementary Education.  In her spare time, Lisa enjoys volunteering in the community, reading, running, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, amateur photography and a variety of sports.

Lisa currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
