Lakers Unite in Service During Community Outreach Week

Hundreds of GVSU volunteers participated in Community Outreach Week activities March 27 - April 3. Dedicated Grand Valley alumni, students and friends, volunteered their time in communities throughout the United States at 20 projects that spanned 6 states and 13 cities. Participants helped further the University's mission by volunteering for a wide variety of causes; such as cleaning up parks, trails and shelters, making snacks and meals for children and families in need, improving the lives of fostered animals, and honoring the legacy of Cesar E.
