Kristin is currently a Reporting Analyst (Writer) for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. She writes about how to live a healthy lifestyle in West Michigan for BCBSM’s “A Healthier MI” site. Kristin is also the Media Relations Director for The Awesome Mitten, an online publication showcasing everything “awesome” in the state of Michigan. In addition to the GVSU Young Alumni Council, Kristin regularly volunteers at various events, organizations, and charities throughout West Michigan.  She also devotes time to international humanitarian advocacy through Amnesty International, Students for a Free Tibet, Invisible Children, and many more. Kristin currently resides in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.
