GV vs West Oregon Wolves 9-1-12
More than 130 alumni, friends and family attended a tailgater at Western Oregon Wolves stadium. About 15 alumni traveled from Las Vegas, Washington and different parts of Oregon to cheer the Lakers on to their first win of the season. #7 Grand Valley State claimed a season-opening 48-20 road win over Western Oregon Saturday in Monmouth, Oregon. GVSU is now 1-0 on the year and will host Notre Dame College next Saturday at 7 p.m. in the newly renovated Lubbers Stadium.
GV Volleyball also played in a tournament against Western Oregon and won 3 of 4 matches.
