Meinecke Outing 8-18-2012
Seventy golfers came out for the 15th annual Corky Meinecke Memorial Scholarship Scramble on August 18. Together, they helped raise $3,000 for the scholarship that benefits students studying news and media.
This years recipient was communications major, Jessica Beswick. Beswick has completed internships with both Fox 17 WXMI and Citadel Broadcasting and currently works with the GVSU Sports Information Department.
After completing her degree, she hopes to pursue her dream of becoming a sports journalist.
