Holland Parade of Lights 11-27-12

GVSU was one of almost 80 entries in the annual Parade of Lights that took place in Holland on November 27. Grand Valley was well represented by the Laker for a Lifetime--Bridging the Lakeshore Banner, Louie the Laker, the GVSU Cheer Team and a blue and white glowing decorated car with GVSU magnets on the side. More than 20 additional walkers, made up of alumni, GVSU Holland faculty, staff, students and families as well as Dean Hiskes and Simone Jonaitis from the Brooks College of Interdisciplinary Studies, were all decorated in lights. The group shared candy, Louie the Laker tattoos, and GVSU Holland glow pencils. The downtown area was packed with families and kids of all ages lining the streets.
