Q: How do I buy game tickets?

A: You can purchase tickets to all varsity sporting events through the GVSU Athletic Ticket Office online at www.GVSUTickets.com or by phone at 616-331-3200.

Q: I’m coming to campus, where do I park?

A: Parking guidelines prior to game day  (http://gvsu.sidearmsports.com/sports/2014/6/3/football_fanguide.aspx)

Passes for Irwin Gold, Blue, and Black Lots are available for a designated donation to the Irwin Club are administered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Call (616) 331-8800 for donation level and further information. NO SINGLE GAME PASSES FOR THE IRWIN LOT WILL BE DISTRIBUTED.

Parking in Lot C, Lot C West, Lot D, Lot F, and Lot G will be charged $5.00/car. MOTORHOMES/RVs will be charged $25.00 and will be allowed ONLY in LOT C unless approved by GVSU Athletics.

OVERNIGHT CAMPING is PROHIBITED in any GVSU Parking Lot or Grounds. Cargo trucks, flat bed trailers, fifth wheel campers, food vending trucks, boats, boat trailers and U-hauls are PROHIBITED and will be asked to leave the Parking Areas. RV's are allowed in Gold Lot and Blue Lot as long as they have the correct pass. GVSU reserves the right to revoke parking passes for ticket holders violating this policy.

Other PROHIBITED VEHICLS INCLUDE: All-Terrain-Vehicles (ATV’s), and unauthorized golf carts. GVSU Athletics reserves the right to remove any unauthorized vehicle from the premises.

Q: What are the tailgate policies?

Q: What can I bring into Lubbers stadium?

A: The following items are PROHIBITED in Lubbers Stadium:

  • Bags, backpacks (including binocular/camera cases)
  • Containers of any kind including aerosol cans and spray cans
  • Umbrellas, flags, and flagpoles
  • Outside beverages or food of any kind
  • Coolers, thermoses, cups, bottles, cans, flasks, kegs, and open bottled water
  • Camcorders and tripods
  • Pets (excludes disability assistance animals)
  • Artificial Noisemakers, unless distributed by GVSU Athletics
  • Promotional items (such as: Towels, Sack Packs, Drawstring Bags, Koozies, Mini Footballs, Tote Bags and Frisbees) unless distributed by GVSU Athletics or approved partners.

Q: I am coming back to campus during homecoming week, can I have a tour?

A: Tours must be scheduled one week prior to your arrival and are arranged as available on a first come, first serve basis Monday, October 6 – Friday, October 10, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Due to the exciting events taking place on Saturday, October 11th, tours cannot be scheduled on Saturday however, tours of the new Mary Idema Pew Library will be taking place 10:00 am – 4:00 p.m. (link to Mary Idema Pew Library tour information). Or you can take a scenic walking/running tour through campus during the Homecoming Family 5k.

Q: Will food and beverages be provided at the Alumni Tailgate Party?

A: An all-you-can-eat tailgate meal and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided for $7 for adults, $5 for children 3-12. Children 2 and under are free. Coolers and alcoholic beverages are allowed in the tailgate area. No glass or pressurized containers are allowed while tailgating. Attendees drinking alcohol must be 21 years or older.
