Former Thomas Jefferson College Performance Theater Group Returns to GVSU
United Stage, the performance theater group of Thomas Jefferson College (a former GVSU cluster college) returned to the GVSU Pew Campus August 5-8, 2009. The performers, including former United Stage instructor Bob Moyer, engaged in four days of workshops culminating with a performance of the story theater and theater game activities they reenacted while in college. The performance entitled United Stage Revisited was preceded by a wine and cheese reception and attracted nearly 80 fellow TJC and William James College alumni, many who hadn't seen each other in over 30 years. Attendees came from all over the state of Michigan and from as far as California, Arizona, North Carolina, Louisiana, Florida, New Jersey and Illinois. They plan to host a similar reunion during GVSU's 50th anniversary celebration in 2010.
