And Marcia Haas, President Emeritus Arend D. and Nancy Lubbers, Grand Valley State University and Karen Loth, Vice President for University Development invite you to join alumni and friends at the Sarasota Field Club on February 26, for cocktails & dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by the program at 8:00 p.m.
The evening is sure to be full of enlightening information and the event offers newcomers and long-time friends an open and casual atmosphere in which to connect with others interested
in Grand Valley State University and West Michigan.
Program Details: Our current president has to lead America in a challenging time of partisan politics and intense global change. Gleaning from the success of Abraham Lincoln, the most written about American president, Gleaves Whitney will take us through Lincoln’s inner life, career, and leadership style to project what America needs from our current and future presidents. Gleaves Whitney is the director of the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies at Grand Valley State University.
Following the program, you're invited to join in an afterglow reception with dessert, coffee and continued conversation with President Haas and President Emeritus Lubbers.
