Join GVDC Club Leaders David Slentz, ’06 and Kirah Rawls, ‘09 at the Baltimore Orioles for a baseball game and summer fun! Before the game, attendees will gather in a private room at Pickles Pub for a pre-game reception, and to hear university updates from 2:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. Following the reception, the group of Laker alumni and friends will walk to the Oriole Park Stadium to watch the Baltimore Orioles take on the Detroit Tigers with the first pitch thrown at 4:05 p.m.
At six special games this season, the Orioles are celebrating the six greatest Birds of all time -- Frank, Earl, Jim, Eddie, Cal and Brooks -- with the Orioles Legends Celebration Series. On July 14th Jim Palmer will be celebrated and each fan in attendance will receive an exact miniature replica of the Jim Palmer sculpture that's sure to be one of the hottest collectibles ever to come out of Birdland. This is a family friendly event.
