The Grand Valley State University Alumni Relations office invites incoming freshmen students to a Summer Send Off – Laker style! Before students set foot on campus, they will join with GVSU staff, current students, and GVSU alumni in their home town for a warm welcome to the GVSU family. The Summer Send Off events are designed for high school seniors to engage with GVSU representatives, learn what it means to be a Laker, and connect with the university community before moving to campus. The event will include a chance to meet other students from their area that will attend GVSU in the Fall of 2012 and an opportunity for parents to network and meet other GVSU families. Incoming freshman may bring up to two guests. Attendees will enjoy dinner and exclusive GVSU gifts.

 Cost: $5 per person
