More than 70 alumni, students and faculty members attended the Music Department reception at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel during the 2012 Michigan Music Conference on Friday, January 20. Music Department Chair Danny K. Phipps provided the group with department updates and encouraged students to mingle with alumni and faculty. Several attendees won t-shirts, water bottles and other giveaways during the prize drawing.
