Alumni Association Honors Clanton, '76 and Tyson

The GVSU Alumni Association bestowed its two most prestigious awards during the commencement ceremony on December 6. The Honorable Deborah L. Clanton, '76, Kentwood District Court Magistrate, received the Distinguished Alumni Award. Dr. Lois M. Tyson, Professor of English, was honored with the Outstanding Educator Award. Their accomplishments were celebrated during a dinner and program at the Alumni House on December 5.
