The GVSU Alumni Association bestowed its two most prestigious awards during the commencement ceremony on April 25. Dr. Louisa Stark, '79, Director, Genetic Science Learning Center and Clinical Professor, University of Utah received the Distinguished Alumni Award. Dr. Stephen R. Mattox, Associate Professor of Geology was honored with the Outstanding Educator Award. A dinner and program celebrating their accomplishments was held at the Alumni House on April 24.
