Term Expires: 2012 Alan is a 1993 magna cum laude graduate of GrandValley State University with a BA in political science and a 1996 cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School. After working as an attorney, Alan returned to obtain his MBA from the University of Alabama Manderson Graduate School of Business, with a concentration in finance. Alan worked as an associate for a Dykema Gossett PLLC before being recruited to Delphi Automotive Systems, where he began developing expertise in technology. At XM Satellite Radio in Washington, DC, Alan supported ten successful product launches resulting in a 250% increase in subscribers. He is currently a Financial Analyst for Ford Motor Company, assigned to the Pricing Department of Ford Credit. As an undergrad, Alan was involved with the Student Activity Board, and was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. At Harvard Law School, he was on the Board of Editors for the Journal on Legislation, competed in the Ames Moot Court competition and served on the Tenant Advocacy Project. Alan was a member of the Manderson Ambassador Program at the University of Alabama, was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma and Golden Key honor societies, was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Assistant prize for his work supporting Operations Management and Spreadsheet Modeling classes. Finally, Alan received the Lewis Manderson Mentorship Award, based on the votes of his classmates and the first year MBA students. Alan’s hobbies include travel, working out, movies, mountain climbing and college sports. Alan resides in Royal Oak, Michigan. |
