Awards/Nominating Committee

Committee Chair: Michael Tappy

The purpose of the Awards/Nominating Committee is to coordinate with Alumni Relations staff to oversee the nomination, selection and administration of annual Alumni Association Awards, and evaluate and propose potential GVSU Alumni Association Board members for consideration by the board.

Duties include:
Meeting bi-annually for the review and selection of Spring and Fall Distinguished Alumni Awards, Spring and Fall Outstanding Educator Awards, Young Alumni Award. Review applications and cover letters of potential Alumni Association Board members and make educated recommendations and selection.
