Alumni and Students Rally at Relay
GVSU Relay for Life took place April 13 and 14 in the fieldhouse arena on the Allendale campus. The 12 hour walk raised funds for the American Cancer Society. 17 alumni, students and their families raised money and walked on behalf of the Alumni Association Relay for Life team, and together the team raised $7,135 earned the title the top fundraising team again this year. The highest individual fundraiser award went to our own Tim Duthler, '73. The Grand Valley Relay event had 1,568 participants, 102 teams and raised a total of $96,042.
