Grand Valley's tuition remains below the state average, and has been named one of "America's 100 Best College Buys" by Institutional Research and Evaluation, Inc. for 21 years in a row.
Washington Monthly ranked Grand Valley as a "Best Bang for the Buck in the Midwest" based on tuition rates, graduation rates and number of first-generation students.
Grand Valley students are encouraged to graduate in four years. Qualifying seniors receive a tuition discount. More than 2,500 students received the Grand Finish Grant in 2015-16. Students who are on track to finish their degree in four years receive up to $1,000. Of the 2016 graduates who earned a degree in four years or less, 36 percent had no debt.
