Program Offerings at Grand Valley

The Seidman College of Business offers four graduate business programs for students interested in continuing their professional education in business administration: traditional M.B.A. and full time M.B.A., accounting (M.S.A.), or taxation (M.S.T.).

Coursework

The traditional M.B.A. program is a degree of breadth and includes 33 to 44 credits as described below:

  • Prerequisites in accounting, statistics, finance, law, and economics. Many students will have completed undergraduate coursework that fulfills some or all of these requirements.
  • Core courses in accounting, economics, ethical perspectives, global competitiveness, finance, information systems, leadership, marketing, operations, and strategy, along with electives to expand the breadth of the degree.
