This inaugural conference of the newly formed Midwest AIS will be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is sponsored by the Seidman College of Business and the Padnos College of Engineering and Computing, Grand Valley State University. 

MWAIS06 will provide an intimate environment to facilitate the sharing of ideas, and close interaction among participants.  About 100 participants are expected from throughout the Midwest US, the neighboring Canadian provinces, and beyond.   

The conference will be held in the DeVos Center in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, home of the Seidman College of Business.  Grand Rapids is the second largest city in Michigan.  It is West Michigan's economic, educational, and cultural center and is ranked among the Best Cities for Business by Fortune Magazine.  Grand Rapids is easily accessible from Chicago, Detroit, and Toronto.
